Cafe Hansehof in Lubeck

We were looking for a cafe in the afternoon for ages and came here by accident. The owner was very friendly and the kitchen was closed, but that was up to us :) Cappuccino was very tasty (even if the milk foam had too little foam), prices are completely okay. The breakfast and lunch menu sounded very, very tasty (and the prices justified), when we are back in Lübeck we will definitely try the food as well. Despite Corona distance regulations, I felt like being at home and had a nice chat with the owner. A hidden treasure in Lübeck.

Very nice café. A little difficult to find, but the wait was definitely worth it. The food was amazing and the owner is so nice and welcoming. Would 100% come back.

Top cafe in a really good atmosphere (backyard) in Lübeck, top breakfast, good quality and freshly prepared, full of coffee, top price / performance ratio. In addition, the friendly owner and all corona prevention were complied with. Highly recommended 😋 👍

Hidden in a courtyard. Very good cakes and pies. Are made by the owner himself. A lot of regular guests. Owner greets everyone by name. Will be there again when I'm in Lübeck again.

Cozy courtyard, very nice service and the cake a dream.

Nicely located, cozy café with delicious cakes and good coffee. There are small snacks and pancakes, totally friendly, down-to-earth and familiar. The courtyard is accessed through a historic, special building. Hidden café that conveys calm and a nice ambience in the current summer and tourist season. Very nicely decorated. I sat outside and even a downpour didn't diminish my well-being. I deduct a half star deduction for the only toilet for males and females and a half sterm for the 'reserved' signs on each table, which are probably due to the Corona period, deterring some and almost me, so that the People left again. Out-of-home sales are expected to start in the next stretch. The premises can be rented for smaller celebrations and events.

After extensive tests in and around Lübeck it is clear: the best cake far and wide. Please keep it up, dear Café Hansehof team :)

Nice to have breakfast, friendly service, no special features. Anyone who has high standards is wrong here. Still a calm atmosphere for the start of the day. There is space for a closed party in the basement.

We had a very nice afternoon at Café Hansehof today. Super delicious food, snacks, sandwiches and a selection of delicious cakes. The boss understands the cake craft 😉. The boss is so warm that we felt very comfortable there. The young waitress was also very friendly. And it is not expensive. Super quality, great prices. I can only recommend it. Reservation would be good.

Good and cozy. The card offers a sufficient selection. The food tastes like that of nuts, and that's exactly how you are accepted. We will be happy to come back when we are nearby.

Rarely have I been served so friendly and courteous. With much love this gem is operated in a Luebeck courtyard house by the owner. The breakfast was excellent, everything was fresh and tasty. This gem has only a few places, so a reservation is highly recommended.

Incredibly nice service, beautiful courtyard, well-kept and nice eatery itself. ADVERTISEMENT (just want to be nice): At the weekend, the couple is very crowded and if someone really interested, this would certainly quickly get a job! :)

The cafe is located in a very nice backyard. Here you can sit outside in good weather, the backyard is very nice to look at. The breakfast was absolutely okay for the price. You get enough coffee or tea. The waitress (and probably the owner) was super friendly and we were able to get breakfast, although we were actually a little too late for it. Nevertheless, we got freshly baked rolls. Inside we were not, what you have seen from the outside, but also looked appealing.

I felt really comfortable here. Quiet location, friendly boss and delicious cake. Here you can just switch off.

I do not know when I ate the last time for so cheap money so delicious. In addition, it was easy to get full and all in a stunningly friendly atmosphere. The guest room is clean and decorated with love. Very clear recommendation!

Delicious homemade food, really great coffee (I had a chai latte and a cappuccino and both were very good), and a wonderful location-- right off a main street, so you're not too far from the sightseeing highlights, but set back into a quiet, quaint, and picturesque courtyard. The real standout feature of this café, though, is the absolutely lovely owner, who prepares everything herself and who gives the USA's fabled Southern hospitality a run for its money. She is the kindest, most welcoming, most helpful person you could ever hope to meet, and her café is frequented by regular guests who are undoubtedly drawn back just as much by her personality as by her good food. Highly, highly recommend Café Hansehof.
